Betsy and Jack's midwest wedding was one to remember. A sunny May day, a historic library turned wedding venue, and two (plus a couple hundred) of the sweetest souls made it extra special.

Needless to say, I'll be dreaming of this venue forever.

After a very emotional and intimate first look they opted for private vows. This part of the day might be one of the reasons I love photographing weddings so much. The fact that I get to witness this kind of love firsthand makes me feel so so lucky.

Because they chose to do a first look, we were able to fit in almost all of the formal photos before the ceremony. We headed to a nearby golf course for family and bridal party photos and took advantage of the beautiful greenery, bridge, and wildflowers.

And now.. a moment..
for the bride and groom!!
(the absolute sweetest couple!!)

The most unique thing I've seen a wedding venue do to commemorate their couples... They have each couple donate a book that represents the couple to add to their own little library... What a fun way to keep the library aspect alive. ... and Betsy and Jack had the MOST perfect book for it... Literally obsessed.<3

The love in their eyes says it all.

And then... they were wed!!

The remaining family photos were taken in front of the beautiful old library.

---
Then the party got started!

Some of the sweetest speeches were given.

Fun fact: their DJ also DJ'd Betsy's sisters wedding AND her parents!

I was so blessed to capture this beautiful wedding and can't wait to see where the future takes them.
Cheers to the McKinney-Longs!
